Multimedia Specialist

SRB Communications, LLC is a boutique multicultural marketing and advertising agency headquartered in Washington, D.C. with a satellite office based in Baltimore, Md. We are hiring a Multimedia Specialist with at least five (5) years of experience to lead, develop and execute video, audio, and multimedia productions for our clients and across the agency.

The successful candidate will conceptualize brand storytelling style and strategy; create, develop and produce video, audio, graphics and multimedia presentation materials in accordance with client and agency style guides, ensure brand consistency; lead and help create quality, persuasive communications. You will be responsible for storyboarding, vendor and client interfacing, project management of all multimedia production work, and concept presentations. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid education and background and desire to work in a fast-paced agency – in video, audio, basic graphic design in Microsoft Creative Suite and Canva and multimedia production.

Chief of Staff

At SRB Communications, we’ve experienced a wonderful period of growth as the direct result of increased revenues, efficiency and productivity. To continue on this trajectory, we’re searching for a highly qualified Chief of Staff – Business Development to work closely with the CEO.  From day one you will have an immediate impact on marketing to current clients and prospects, establishing and strengthening partnerships – ensuring the agency’s operational excellence and further agency growth.

You will be responsible for driving all critical business development processes, setting clear goals and objectives, and working closely with the CEO to execute strategic projects and initiatives. As Chief of Staff, you will play an integral role in ensuring the agency achieves its ambitious business development goals, in a time when relationships and partnerships are more important to SRB’s success than ever before. You will get substantial exposure to senior leadership e.g., our Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Sr. Digital Marketing Manager and Chief Financial Officer/HR Manager, to gain a deep understanding of SRB’s services and growth strategies. You will become well acquainted with the operations of running a small business!

Reports directly to the Founder, President and CEO.

Responsibilities – Business Development

  • Plan and direct all business development and operational activities for the CEO
  • Collaborate with the CEO to determine and prioritize business development strategies
  • Serve as thought-partner and confidant to the CEO
  • Identify business opportunities to advance the goals of the agency; work-cross functionally to secure client prospects and partner inclusion in these initiatives
  • Analyze market trends, industry business verticals data and prioritize resources to market client prospects and strengthen partnerships 
  • Responsible for establishing and growing relationships with clients through proactive industry thought leadership, case studies, and first-to-market opportunities
  • Contribute meaningfully to the development of new business efforts including
  • prospecting, proposal writing, preparing cost proposals, responding to RFPs; pitching and new account set-up; follow-up correspondence, virtual and in-person meetings
  • Own business development, leadership and team meetings; plan, coordinate and keep the content of business development and high-level meetings, especially in the absence of the CEO; run meetings with grace and agility, asking the right questions and ensuring that goals and objectives are met 
  • Manage a dynamic business development schedule and many competing priorities with high stakes and tight deadlines
  • Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the CEO to facilitate efficient decision making
  • Responsibilities – Business Operations
  • Manage day-to-day business operations, processes and procedures, i.e., preparing and responding to high-level stakeholder correspondence, designing business development and financial filing systems, reviewing and approving supply purchases
  • Partner with CEO to execute on mandated strategic projects, present to leadership team e.g., communicate the value of partnerships across multiple channels and recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork
  • Drive strategy for the team by producing core foundational documents and plans, such as inputs for the twice annual staff retreat and strategic planning meetings
  • Develop content for key executive work streams, such as leadership off-sites and other executive asks
  • Ensure operational excellence of the SRB team by driving annual planning, quarterly business reviews, and other crucial processes to run the business; orchestrate bi-annual team-wide on-sites, and foster a sense of cohesion within the team
  • Determine key performance indicators and how to measure team performance

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in business development, business strategy and/or operations; entrepreneurial mindset a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • Shown history of owning and delivering cross-functional projects end-to-end
  • Excellent ability to produce engaging written content to support the agency’s business development efforts
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills; prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
  • Extremely detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Motivated, goal oriented, highly resourceful
  • Excellent problem-solving skills 
  • High level of initiative and ability to work well in a small team environment 
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment with demanding deadlines, long hours under pressure  
  • Flexibility and willingness to work odd hours, when necessary
