Alan Drummond is the Brand Marketing Manager at SRB Communications. He leads, manages and supports marketing, outreach, public education and strategic communications campaigns. Our award-winning creative team has developed a reputation of delivering integrated media solutions to corporate, government, utilities, and transportation clients for more than 27 years.
Alan brings to the SRB team more than 20 years’ experience in management, branding, marketing communications and graphic design. Prior to joining SRB Communications, Alan was navigating his way around the globe, working for Publicis in Kuwait, several independent agencies in Dubai and Oman, a pharmaceutical company in New York and finally settling in Arlington, VA where he worked as a marketing consultant.
Specifically, Alan manages campaigns and projects between the client and the agency’s creative and production departments. He leads creative and account teams and integrates brand standards and guidelines into campaigns and projects for consistency in messaging and execution. He also prepares and reviews all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met. Furthermore, he reviews and approves creative and production materials, copy, layouts and production art. Alan coordinates the client approval process, manages campaign and project timelines and budgets with all staff on the account team and subcontractors, and tracks consumer and market insights with metrics and conduct consumer research. Alan also actively researches and identifies new business leads and “pitches” for new and existing business. He works with account team to prepare proposals and presentations to client prospects.
Alan has worked for some of the world’s leading brands such as Toshiba, Aston Martin, Mazda, Costa Coffee and Burger King. He has also worked with a number of large organizations and internationally recognizable clientele, such as The Emirates Group and Kuwait Airways, Dusit Hotels, Jumeirah Hotels and Per Aquum Resorts.
When he is not chauffeuring his children to sports and other activities, Alan enjoys painting and upcycling furniture, which simply means restoring it to its former state or making it into something more interesting and creative.
Alan has a Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts from Forth Valley College, Falkirk, Scotland, United Kingdom.
